En La cuarta ola. Líderes, fanáticos y oportunistas en la nueva era de la extrema derecha, Ariel Goldstein examina el fenómeno de la extrema derecha, que se ha ido consolidando en la última década. Aunque centra su análisis en América Latina, también considera las dinámicas de este movimiento en otras regiones como España y Estados Unidos. Goldstein identifica los elementos comunes que caracterizan a estos movimientos, destacando que, si bien la extrema derecha adopta formas particulares en cada país, comparte rasgos y estrategias recurrentes a nivel global.
