EditorialAbstract
Our first editorial note at the helm of Revista SAAP begins with a sincere thank you to its outgoing editor, María Laura Tagina, whose tireless work positioned the journal as a leading international publication in the field of political studies and who, along with Gustavo Dufour, president of the Argentine Society of Political Analysis, entrusted us to succeed her. We are assuming the leadership of a journal undergoing a process of growth and professionalization, with its transition to the OJS (Open Journal Systems) system and its inclusion in the Emerging Sources Citation Index of Web of Science as two most recent milestones on a long-standing path toward excellence.
We are proud to lead this new phase of Revista SAAP, in which we aim to continue disseminating relevant contributions to the discipline that meet the highest academic rigor. We also aim to expand the journal's international reach and broaden its community of authors and readers, encouraging submissions in the three accepted languages: Spanish, English, and Portuguese. The continuous improvement of impact indices, already initiated by our previous administration, is another of our main medium- and long-term objectives.
