SAAP Journal, a scientific publication of the Argentine Society for Political Analysis, has been a fundamental tool for the dissemination of knowledge produced in the field of political science in Argentina and Latin America for more than two decades. Between July 2019 and December 2024, I have been responsible for the editorial direction of this journal, with the aim of strengthening its academic profile, professionalising its editorial management, incorporating new international quality standards to improve its indexing, and consolidating its regional and international reach. This report summarises the lines of action pursued, the achievements made and the challenges that lie ahead. Progress has been made in institutionalising best practices, improving content quality, expanding international reach, improving indexing and consolidating a dedicated and professional editorial team.
