THE JOURNAL

Revista SAAP is the scientific-academic journal of the Argentine Society of Political Analysis (Sociedad Argentina de Análisis Político, SAAP). It seeks to publish materials useful for political scientists and researchers from Argentina and abroad interested in studying political issues, both national and international.

The goal of Revista SAAP is to disseminate knowledge in political science, thus contributing to the construction of a stronger discipline and a more developed political science community. Revista SAAP is the continuation of Boletín SAAP, and seeks to publish articles of the highest academic quality, on theoretical and/or empirical basis, concerning substantively important issues of Argentina and the world’s political life. To reach this goal, it has an editorial board of the highest academic level, constituted by: Carlos Acuña, David Altman, Rut Diamint, Tulia Falleti, Steven Levitsky, Fernando Limongi, Elsa Llenderrozas, María Victoria Murillo, Aníbal Pérez-Liñán, Catalina Smulovitz and Susan Stokes. It implements double-blind peer-review evaluations.

Since 2007, Revista SAAP is included in the Núcleo Básico de Revistas Científicas Argentinas (Basic Core of Argentinean Scientific Journals) developed by the Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (CONICET), the national scientific agency of Argentina.
